Role: Scrub Theatre Practitioner Location: The Portland Hospital Hours: Permanent, Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Shifts: Monday to Sunday, Early (0730-1600), Late (12.30-2100) and long days (0730-2100) On calls: 1 week every 8-9 weeks Salary: Competitive + Shift Allowances We are looking for a Scrub Theatre Practitioner to join our Theatre department. The theatre team comprises of Consultants and Practitioners who have vast experience and knowledge across a range of specialties. There are many complex procedures carried out daily, across a range of acute specialities, including Gynae &amp; Obstetrics, as well as general and paediatric surgery. As a Scrub Theatre Practitioner, you will be working as part of a team to ensure a high standard of nursing care and safety for patients within the theatre unit. In addition to this, you will also actively contribute to the maintenance of an environment that is conducive to the delivery and promotion of a high standard of patient care.
