Hours: This role is a 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, service covered between 8am-8pm plus on call service

The Wellington Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK is currently recruiting a Senior Staff Nurse to join the Interventional Radiology team!

The Senior Radiology Nurse will be accountable for clinical practice, the delivery of quality clinical care, and a customer-focused driven service with the Radiology team. The post holder will also support the Radiologist and Radiographers in the management of the clinical areas, including assessment of care needs, the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs of care.

In this role, you will support interventional radiology procedures across X-ray, CT and ultrasound, delivering high-quality care to both in-patients and out-patients. You will assess and interpret specialist patient conditions, taking appropriate clinical action and contributing to the delivery of safe, effective radiology interventions.
The post holder will help maintain clinical standards through participation in governance, risk management and audit activities, while working collaboratively within a multi-professional team.
You will also provide leadership in the absence of the lead nurse, supporting and supervising the nursing team to ensure consistently high standards of patient care
