AppLocum are working with an OOH and Urgent Care service looking for ENPs or equivalent role that can support their UTCs across the West Yorkshire region.

Location: West Yorkshire

Setting: UTC

Working Pattern: Full time, Part Time, Adhoc and Regular Work Available

Times: Open 8am – 11pm – Range of hours / Shifts available

Pay: £45/hr weekdays, £50/hr weekends

Clinical duties:

  • Independently assess, prioritise, and safely discharge/refer patients attending with undifferentiated and undiagnosed minor injuries.
  • Carry out x ray interpretation of adult and paediatric limb x rays to aid diagnosis of musculoskeletal injuries
  • Work within the parameters of current nurse prescribing legislation and approved Patient Group Directives.
  • Provide professional and clinical advice within the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Maintain accurate, contemporaneous electronic patient records

Essential

  • Previous employment experience of working in UTC of OOH settings.
  • NMC Registered General Nurse OR Registered Paramedic HCPC / Paramedic degree.
  • Recent experience working in an urgent care, minor injuries unit, or A&E setting
  • Independent Prescribing (V300)
  • Level 6 in Minor Injuries
  • Be able to see adults and children from at least 6 months +
  • IRMER Training within last 3 years (can provide you with link for online course)

  • £45 - £50 per hour
