Location: West Yorkshire
Setting: UTC
Working Pattern: Full time, Part Time, Adhoc and Regular Work Available
Times: Open 8am – 11pm – Range of hours / Shifts available
Pay: £45/hr weekdays, £50/hr weekends
Clinical duties:
- Independently assess, prioritise, and safely discharge/refer patients attending with undifferentiated and undiagnosed minor injuries.
- Carry out x ray interpretation of adult and paediatric limb x rays to aid diagnosis of musculoskeletal injuries
- Work within the parameters of current nurse prescribing legislation and approved Patient Group Directives.
- Provide professional and clinical advice within the multi-disciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate, contemporaneous electronic patient records
Essential
- Previous employment experience of working in UTC of OOH settings.
- NMC Registered General Nurse OR Registered Paramedic HCPC / Paramedic degree.
- Recent experience working in an urgent care, minor injuries unit, or A&E setting
- Independent Prescribing (V300)
- Level 6 in Minor Injuries
- Be able to see adults and children from at least 6 months +
- IRMER Training within last 3 years (can provide you with link for online course)
