Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Our nurses are committed to teamwork, have good communication and decision making skills and consistently work collaboratively with other professionals within HCT and beyond. We aim to provide a high standard of patient care using an evidence-based framework.
Successful applicants will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualised nursing care to patients living in the community. They will need to support the Nursing Sisters of the team to manage the caseload and support junior staff.
A commitment to health promotion teaching and training is essential, to optimise our patients ability to self-manage their health needs and engage them in maintaining their wellbeing.

Essential criteria
  • Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)
Qualifications and Training

Essential criteria
  • RGN
  • Car driver and holder of current UK driving licence (unless you have a disability as defined by Equality Act 2010)
  • Evidence of professional development.
Experience and Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Understanding of current health legislation
  • Understanding of HCT organisation
  • Responsible for managing a ward or team.
Desirable criteria
  • Caseload management
  • Experience working with other agencies
