The Mama Coach is a global team of registered nurses and nurse practitioners all in independent practice.

Start Your Own Private Nursing Practice in the UK

Healthcare in the UK is strained. Nurses are stretched thin, working under pressure in systems that don’t always support them — and often not using their full scope of knowledge and skill. The result? Burnout. Frustration. And a feeling that we’re no longer doing the work we trained so hard to do. Leaving each shift thinking you wanted to do better, to spend more time with your patients, but couldn’t due to system restraints.

At The Mama Coach, we believe that both nurses and patients deserve better.

We’ve developed a model of care that puts the nursing process back at the centre. One that leads to exceptional outcomes for clients — and gives nurses autonomy, flexibility, and financial freedom in their careers.

A New Path for UK Nurses

Whether you're a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Nurse Practitioner (NP) working in the UK or anywhere in Europe, you can build a thriving private practice using The Mama Coach model. We license nurses and provide all the tools, resources, and support you need to launch and grow your business — without starting from scratch.

This is not an agency role or franchise. You own your practice. You set your hours. You decide how big (or how flexible) your business becomes.

The Mama Coach began 10 years ago in Canada, and has expanded globally to over 200 RNs and NPs who collectively share the brand but who are all in independent practice. We have nurses every month who can quit their jobs because their practices have grown.

Carrie Bruno is the founder of The Mama Coach — a global organization on a mission to change healthcare for women and families by putting nurses back at the centre of care.

Here's What's Included:

Done-for-you programming — covering maternal child health (sleep, feeding, newborn, and more), preconception support, and menopause/perimenopause care. All programming follows UK guidelines.

EMR, website, booking system, and email marketing platform — already built for you and privacy compliant.

Mentorship — from an experienced Mama Coach RN based in Europe who has already built a successful practice.

Business coaching — to help you grow with confidence.

Professional development — ongoing training and monthly clinical support sessions.

And perhaps most importantly — a community of nurses just like you, around the world, supporting each other and changing healthcare in the process.

Move at Your Own Pace

Once you’re accepted into our next cohort, you can begin the training on your own schedule. Most nurses launch within 12–16 weeks, depending on how much time you have to commit each week. And from day one, you’ll have direct support from our headquarters and your nurse mentor to guide you.

Ready to Learn More?

We’re currently accepting applications from nurses in the UK. If you’re a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner and this sounds like a path you'd like to explore, apply now and we’ll send you a full informational video that walks through everything — the programming, business tools, mentorship, and pricing.

You don’t need to feel stuck in the system. You can build something of your own — something that helps families, serves your community, and supports your life too.
