Locum Practice Nurse Required | Worcestershire | Ongoing 3-Month Contract
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Practice Nurse to join a friendly and supportive GP practice in Worcestershire.
Contract
- Minimum 3-month contract
- 2 days per week
- Friday is essential
- Hours: 08:00–17:00 or 09:00–18:00
Clinical System
- EMIS Web
Duties
The successful candidate will be confident in delivering a range of general practice nursing duties, including:
- General treatment room duties
- Cervical smear testing
- Phlebotomy
- Compression bandaging
- Asthma reviews
- Health promotion and patient education
- Other routine Practice Nurse responsibilities as required
Requirements
- Current NMC registration
- Previous UK General Practice experience
- Competent in cervical smear testing
- Confident in phlebotomy and compression bandaging
- Experience managing asthma reviews
- Proficient using EMIS Web
- Up-to-date mandatory training and competencies
This is an excellent opportunity to secure regular weekly sessions within a well-established GP practice, with a minimum three-month commitment and the potential for extension.
