Practice Nurse - Reading (RG30)

£23.00-£24.55 per hour | Up to Full-Time Hours Available | Flexible Working Pattern | Free On-Site Parking

A well-established and highly supportive GP surgery in Reading (RG30) is looking to recruit an experienced Practice Nurse with a special interest in Chronic Disease Management to join its dedicated clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

Working autonomously as part of the nursing team, you will provide high-quality patient care across a range of services, including:

  • Cervical screening
  • Childhood immunisations
  • Adult and travel vaccinations
  • Chronic disease management and annual reviews, including diabetes and asthma


About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current experience as a Practice Nurse within primary care
  • Confidence in delivering cervical screening, immunisations, and vaccinations
  • Experience running Diabetes and/or Asthma clinics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, reliable, and team-focused approach
