Hours Available We are hiring full-time and part-time colleagues for a variety of shift options. Full-Time Roles: <ul><li> Standard shifts include a mix of early and late shifts. <ul><li> Early shifts start at 7am or 8am. </li><li> Late shifts finish at 9pm or 10pm. </li></ul></li><li> Full-time colleagues can opt to work only late shifts (9pm or 10pm finishes). </li><li> Full-time night shifts are available, typically 10pm to 6am (must finish no earlier than 6am). </li><li> Weekend work is required at least every other weekend, with the option to work every weekend if desired. </li></ul> Part-Time Roles: <ul><li> Part-time shifts are focused mainly on evening hours, with flexibility for early and late shifts <ul><li> Early shifts: 6am-12pm (start at 6am, 7am, or 8am; finish at 10am, 11am, or 12pm). </li><li> Late shifts: 4pm-10pm (start at 4pm, 5pm, or 6pm; finish at 8pm, 9pm, or 10pm). </li><li> Weekend only shifts are also available. </li></ul></li></ul> Additional hours may be available in times of peak demand. If you hold a non-medical prescriber qualification (V300 or equivalent) a Physical Assessment course level 7 or above, a minor illness qualification and some experience with palliative and End of life care and would like to join our professional team providing outstanding patient care to all ages then we would love to hear from you. As we provide an OOH service, you must be willing to work evenings and weekends. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing and treating patients of all ages with minor illnesses. As an independent prescriber, you will be responsible for safely prescribing medication to complement treatment plans for a range of medical conditions. You will usually be based at one of our out of hours locations within Norfolk and Waveney. We also support IUC CAS telephone-based services as part of our contract with the lead 111 service provider. You will be part of the multidisciplinary team which includes GPs; ACPs, and Prescribing Pharmacists. Patients will be referred to the CAS following a 111 pathways assessment, where you will be expected to use your clinical expertise to treat, advise or refer them on to the most appropriate service. This role is particularly suited to an autonomous clinician with a proven track record of delivering high quality care within the Primary Care setting with experience in dealing with a wide range of minor ailments. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference to patients that develop an urgent care need or deteriorate during the OOH period and are therefore unable to access their own GP Surgery. You will receive a full induction and be supported by a Clinical Lead. Who are we?
