What you will do:
- Deliver high-quality, safe, and effective prescribing services within substance misuse settings, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing your expertise to the broader recovery process.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide personalised care plans for individuals tackling substance abuse, addiction, and recovery challenges.
- Engage in harm reduction initiatives, including needle exchange programs, to minimise the risks associated with substance misuse.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all clinical documentation meets regulatory standards.
Requirements:
Bring recent experience working as a Non-Medical Prescriber or within fields such as Substance Misuse, Substance Abuse, Addiction, Drug and Alcohol, Needle Exchange, or Recovery. Hold a valid NMC Registration and possess a degree or equivalent in Nursing. Your insight and expertise in these areas will be invaluable to your role and team.
