Join our team and make a real difference as a Prison Cleared Registered Mental Health Nurse at HMP Hewell in Redditch. We are currently seeking three skilled RMNs to start as soon as possible, working Monday to Friday with shifts between 09:00-17:00 and 08:00-18:00. This is a unique locum opportunity that offers competitive pay of £27 per hour. The role comes with a minimum contract of three months, with the potential for extension. What you will do:
- Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and interventions for inmates.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to each individual's needs.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent and effective care.
- Administer medication and monitor responses, making necessary adjustments.
- Support rehabilitation efforts and promote mental well-being within the prison community.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Deliver training and support to prison staff to enhance overall mental health awareness.
