Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) - Triage & Same-Day Care | Scunthorpe
Salary: Band 8a-8b (DOE)
Hours: 30-37.5 hours per week
Looking for a role where you can take the lead on triage and truly influence same-day care?
Join a busy, friendly training practice in Scunthorpe as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner working alongside GPs to manage the day-to-day triage and same-day patient care. This is a hands-on role running the triage intake in a supportive, collaborative environment, perfect for someone who enjoys working directly with patients and alongside a skilled primary care team.
With a patient population of around 20,000 across two sites, you'll be part of a team of over 50 staff, including 7 GPs, nurses, nurse associates, and healthcare assistants, delivering high-quality care to the local community.

What you'll be doing:
- Acting as a key point of contact for triage and urgent presentations
- Assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of acute conditions
- Making autonomous clinical decisions with the support of GPs when needed
- Helping to streamline same-day services across the practice
- Supporting ongoing improvements within the clinical team
What they're looking for:
- Essential Proven experience within general practice
- Confidence managing triage and same-day patient demand
- Strong clinical judgement and decision-making ability
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Experience using System One
- ANP qualification or equivalent advanced practice experience
- Qualified prescriber
- Valid Registration with NMC or HCPC or GPhC
