What you will do:

• Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments, including taking a detailed substance use history and conducting physical and mental health evaluations.

• Deliver and manage clinical interventions like health screenings, wound care, and providing essential harm reduction advice.

• Support and monitor prescribing programmes, such as opiate substitution therapy and alcohol detoxification, according to clinical guidelines.

• Offer health promotion and education, including BBV screening, vaccinations, and overdose prevention.

Person Specification:

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RMN or RGN)

• Evidence of continued professional development

Registration & Compliance

• Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC PIN)

• Knowledge of relevant frameworks and guidance, such as NICE guidelines for substance misuse and safeguarding for adults and children

• Enhanced DBS clearance
