Offering an impressive rate of £55 hourly, this full-time role covers Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. Initially presented as a 1-month block booking, the position bears the potential for extension. We are seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our team promptly. As part of a multidisciplinary and multi-agency setting, guided by the NMP Lead, Assistant Medical Director, and the Service’s Medical Lead, your contributions will be pivotal in delivering recovery-driven alcohol and drug intervention services.

What You Will Do:
- Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and develop treatment plans for service users.
- Integrate drug and non-drug-based strategies to plan and evaluate patient care.
- Determine service users’ eligibility for in-patient detoxification for alcohol and opioids.
- Manage and revise clinical treatment plans to maximize outcomes.
- Prescribe medication and make necessary adjustments in adherence to best practice guidelines.
- Educate service users about medication options, potential side effects, and interactions.
- Quickly address high-priority health issues, collaborating with the Clinical Lead when required.
- Assess and facilitate referrals for patients with mental health concerns.
- Mentor service users in health-promoting behaviors and strategies.

Requirements:
To qualify, you must be a registered pharmacist with a current GPhC registration and at least two years of post-qualification experience, or a first-level registered nurse with a valid PIN and a minimum of three years post-qualification experience, with at least one year in substance misuse treatment. Strong competence in clinical prescribing, harm reduction, and the ability to deliver quality service is essential, alongside effective communication and report-writing skills.
