Our team within the South East are seeking a registered 'Chemotherapy Nurse' to deliver high-quality oncology care, support patients through\ntheir treatment journey, and contribute to the ongoing development of our\nfield-based clinical workforce.

This role is a unique blend of hands-on patient care and clinical\ndevelopment. You'll work directly with patients receiving chemotherapy while\nalso supporting and developing other clinicians-helping to raise standards,\nbuild confidence, and embed best practice across services.

It's an ideal opportunity for nurses who enjoy variety, autonomy,\nand the chance to influence both patient outcomes and clinical capability

Working autonomously you will administer a range of haematological and solid\ntumour chemotherapy treatments, as defined in the patient's care plan whilst\nsustaining professional standards.

Seeing between 1 - 8 patients per day, you will record\nall clinical data and document any adverse drug events via the correct\nprotocol. Long lasting relationships will be built with patient's, carers\nand stakeholders to aide and support treatment and recovery.

A full UK driving licence is essential as you will travel\nthroughout a regional area

What key skills do I need to\napply:

To be successful in this role you will need to be fully competent\nadministrating a range of chemotherapy drugs and also have the following skills\nand attributes:
- Be registered with the NMC
- Hold a chemotherapy delivery qualification - preferably a SACT passport
- Be experienced administering oncology medications in a hospital or\ncommunity setting
- Be confident in clinical assessment, IV administration, chemotherapy\ndelivery, cannulation, and phlebotomy
- Passionate about person-centred care and supporting others
