Clinical System – EMIS

Hourly pay: £27 - £30/hr dependent on experience

Work schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays starting June for approx 3 months. Possibility of extending further.

Hours: Flexible full days between the hours of 8am - 6pm

We are currently supporting a highly rated and well organised GP surgery on the Wirral. This purpose built practice is currently looking for a Practice Nurse who can offer continuity and quality patient care. You will be working alongside a very supportive and close knit team, majority of whom have worked at the surgery for many years. They pride themselves on looking after their team and their patients. Looking for a nurse who can perform all standard practice nurse duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cervical cytology screening and routine health checks
• Conduct childhood immunisation clinics including routine vaccinations and booster programmes
• Manage long-term condition reviews for patients with diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension, and other chronic conditions
• Provide patient education and health promotion advice
• Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to practice audits

Essential Criteria:

• NMC Registered
• Up-to-date immunisation and cytology competencies
• Experience working within the role of Practice Nurse
• General practice experience
• Emis competency
