Complex Home Care
Job Ref 26074
Job description
At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs - we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.
We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment - and we're looking for people who share those values.
Meet our client
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to support a cheerful and energetic 12-year-old boy with complex clinical needs in his family home, which has been thoughtfully adapted to meet his requirements.
He is an affectionate young boy who enjoys water-based activities, sensory toys, music, and spending time outdoors. Building a positive relationship through shared interests and play is an important part of this role.
Working as part of a 2:1 care package alongside an experienced Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Your role will include managing his seizures and clinical interventions, supporting enteral feeding and medication administration, assisting with mobility, providing oxygen therapy when required, and delivering attentive personal care.
After school, you will engage him in therapeutic play and support his evening routine, ensuring he is safe, comfortable, and settled for the night, while closely monitoring and responding to his clinical needs with professionalism and compassion.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a young person's life while working within a supportive team environment.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, clients have the right to request either female or male staff.
This isn't just a job - it's your opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life."
