About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) or Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join the dedicated healthcare team at HMP Deerbolt. In this unique and rewarding environment, you'll deliver high-quality primary care and emergency response to a varied patient group within a secure setting.

This role is ideal for a confident, compassionate practitioner who thrives on autonomy and variety, working shifts typically from 07:30 to 20:15 (with a 45-minute unpaid lunch and 30-minute unpaid tea break).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical reviews and provide independent prescribing within your professional scope.

• Deliver high-standard, patient-centred care in a secure environment.

• Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies within the prison.

• Support the ongoing healthcare needs of patients, ensuring safety and continuity of care.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, high-quality health services.

Essential Requirements

• Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or Advanced Nurse Practice.

• Independent Prescriber qualification and RCGP Part 1 certification.

• Current ILS certification and MAST training.

• Proven experience working in primary care or similar autonomous clinical settings.

• Role falls inside IR35.
