Clinical System – EMIS
Hourly pay: £27 - £32ph dependent on experience
We are currently supporting a long-established GP Surgery within the Birkenhead area, Wirral, looking for Practice Nurse support over the next few months on a locum basis. This purpose-built modern surgery has a brilliant supportive clinical team in place, looking for someone who is experiened with working in a Practice Nurse capacity, and able to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cervical cytology screening and routine health checks
- Conduct childhood immunisation clinics including routine vaccinations and booster programmes
- Manage long-term condition reviews for patients with diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension, and other chronic conditions
- Provide patient education and health promotion advice
- Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to practice audits
Essential Criteria:
- NMC Registered
- Up-to-date immunisation and cytology competencies
- Experience working within Practice Nurse capacity
- General practice experience
- Emis competency
