Practice Nurse - Liverpool

We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our team on a flexible, locum basis for GP surgery work in North Liverpool.

We are supporting a well-established, friendly GP training within the North Liverpool locality. The practice is committed to providing high-quality patient care with a supportive multidisciplinary team, modern digital systems, and a strong teaching ethos.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with best practice guidelines
• Manage long-term conditions (asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension)
• Provide immunisations and vaccination clinics
• Perform cervical cytology (smears) and other routine screenings
• Conduct wound care, dressings, and health promotion
• Support GPs and the wider clinical team with treatment room duties

Criteria

• Registered Nurse (NMC)
• Experience working in a primary care / GP surgery setting
• Up-to-date with immunisations and cytology training
• Experience with EMIS
