Description
Priory Elton Unit is looking to recruit a Clinical Lead to join the team. This is a full time, 37.5 hour role.

The Elton Unit is located on the outskirts of Bury, Greater Manchester. It is a 28-bedded specialist care home which provides residential and nursing support to adults aged 18 years and older who have a brain injury.

The brain injury service is aimed at those whose disability requires management by a specialist team of practitioners who work together to maintain the person's wellbeing and quality of life. The Elton Unit offers specialist care for a wide range of complex support needs, including people with a prolonged disorder of consciousness (PDOC).




What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents

• Provide specialist clinical knowledge, expertise and support to the nursing team and wider MDT
• Ensure that proactive clinical risk assessment and management are at the centre of planning care and interventions with service users and colleagues
• Provide education and development of Registered Nurses and HCAs and ensuring that the baseline needs of everyone to practice safely and effectively are met

What you'll bring to the role

You will be a Registered Nurse with a minimum of three years experience within a similar, clinical setting. You will have experience within a management or clinical leadership role and have experience of leading on service development projects.
