Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post holder will act as the key driver supporting day to day quality improvement initiatives within the Medway Fetal and Maternal Medicine Centre and Antenatal clinic, including audit, project design and facilitation and guideline maintenance. The post holder will also be a professional role model, leading and coordinating the team as required, always behaving in an exemplary manner.

Essential criteria
- NMC Midwife Registrant
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent with evidence of further professional development Experience in relevant clinical areas

- Experienced senior midwife
- Adequate post registration experience working across the maternity services
- Project management experience

- Awareness of professional responsibilities Knowledge of current midwifery issues
- Articulates understanding of the functions of the MFMC and antenatal department
- Demonstrates knowledge of evidence based practice and quality improvement
