About the Role:
As part of our Outpatients department, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality care across a diverse range of surgical specialities. You'll assess patients' health and wellbeing, support clinical investigations, and contribute to continuous improvements in patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Nurse-led clinics, including dressing and phlebotomy clinics, and contribute to the delivery of pre-operative assessments
- Provide chaperone support and clinical assistance to consultants during examinations and minor procedures
- Coordinate investigations requested by consultants and ensure smooth patient pathways
- Support the Outpatients Manager and wider team with tasks that ensure efficient department operations and excellent patient care
- Deliver personalised nursing care in line with hospital policies and best practice standards
Who we are looking for:
- NMC registered nurse with relevant clinical experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Venepuncture and ILS Training is desirable for this role.
