An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Substance Misuse Nurse to join a Criminal Justice Substance Misuse Service in Medway, Kent. This ongoing locum role offers a competitive rate of £34 per hour and a flexible hybrid working pattern, with on-site presence required three days per week (Tuesday to Thursday, 09:00-17:00).

You will play a key role in delivering specialist clinical interventions to individuals within the criminal justice system, supporting recovery and improving health outcomes in a challenging yet highly rewarding environment.

What you will do

• Conduct FibroScan and ECG procedures safely and effectively.

• Administer Buvidal, Hepatitis B, and thiamine vaccinations in line with clinical guidelines.

• Carry out and coordinate home visits where required to support continuity of care.
