We currently have an exciting locum opportunity for a Band 6 Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner located in the beautiful Isle of Man, UK. You will be earning £40 per hour on a contract basis from ASAP until 14 December 2025. This role is located at Nobles Hospital, with average weekly core hours up to 37.5 hours and on-call hours up to 16 hours per week. Full-time commitment is desirable for consistency and continuity of care. The ideal candidate should have recent UK experience and must have completed an accredited course approved by the faculty of forensic and legal medicine (FFLM).

What you will do:

• Provide compassionate and expert forensic examination and support during acute and follow-up referrals for individuals who have experienced sexual assault.
• Liaise closely with law enforcement and other health care professionals to ensure the highest standard of evidence collection, respecting patient confidentiality and dignity.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records, critical for ensuring legal and clinical integrity.
• Offer emotional support and crisis intervention, guiding patients through both immediate and follow-up medical care.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, supporting continued professional development and ongoing service improvement.
