Salary:
• £19.50 per hour

Job Purpose:
• To deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care within a fast-paced Emergency Department
• To support the assessment, treatment, and ongoing care of patients presenting with acute and emergency conditions
• To work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary emergency care team

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in line with clinical guidelines and hospital policies
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety at all times
• Monitor patients' conditions and respond promptly to changes in clinical need
• Work closely with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive patient records
• Offer reassurance, information, and emotional support to patients and their families during challenging situations
• Adhere to infection control, safeguarding, and health and safety policies

Essential Requirements:
• Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration
• Experience working in an Emergency Department or acute care setting
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills
• Flexible approach to shift work
