
Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Location: North East Aberdeenshire (AB43)
Contract: Permanent
Pay: £32 to £36 per hour
Hours: Up to full-time available, with the flexibility to set your own working pattern
About the Role
A well-established GP Practice is seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly, well-established semi-rural team in North East Aberdeenshire.
Serving a patient population of approximately 6,500 across three sites in New Pitsligo, Strichen and Maud, this role offers a varied and rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality, community-centred primary care within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ANP seeking flexibility, clinical autonomy and a sustainable work-life balance while making a meaningful difference to local communities.
About the Role
You will work across a broad range of primary care services, including:
* Assessing, diagnosing, treating and referring patients as appropriate
* Managing minor illness presentations
* Supporting on-the-day and face-to-face appointments
* Conducting comprehensive physical assessments
* Assessing and managing acute clinical concerns
* Providing patient education, self-management advice and health promotion
* Working collaboratively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team
* Maintaining accurate, timely and compliant patient records
What We're Looking For
* MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, or equivalent qualification
* Independent Prescribing qualification
* Previous experience in primary care
* Confident clinical assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Commitment to safe, patient-centred and collaborative care
