By listening to nurses we can identify the pain-points of mental health nursing. This will help attract new RMNs and retain those who might otherwise join the growing numbers quitting.
I’ve just graduated as a mental health nurse. My placements through 3 years of training gave an indicator of what’s to come. It’s going to be rewarding. But the pressures are likely to increase.
