Student Nurses: Advice For Written Assignments
Student Nurse, Alexandria, offers her advice for completing written assignments and keeping on top of your referencing.
Hi guys, it's Alexandria Grace, one of the creators for nurse.co.uk.
Today I thought I'd give my fellow student nurses some advice on writing assignments.
Number one, always make sure you make a plan.
That is the best way to organize your writing before you even start writing.
Two, make a reference list as you go, because if you leave it towards the end, which I have done before, it just makes the process so much longer.
And try and collect as many references as you go as well.
Just to make the whole process of writing a lot quicker.
Three, write in bits.
Don't write the whole assignment all in one day, because you'll just stress yourself out.
Four, don't wait until the last minute actually submit, because that's even more stress.
Five, lastly, if you need an extension, don't hesitate to apply for one.
If you need it, it will help you so much.
