About us

For children, young people and adults - we provide complex and specialist care provider in Kent, London and the South East. Our mission is to give quality care and support that our customers need, so that their loved ones can live life on their own terms.

We offer a wide range of care, nursing, and office-based roles for everyone—from supporting children, young people, and adults as part of our complex care team to joining our dedicated agency team.

Superior Healthcare is trusted to provide care by NHS integrated care boards (ICBs), solicitors, case managers, county councils, and most importantly our clients and their families.

Superior Healthcare provides robust care packages to children, young people, and adults across the UK.

We partner with NHS ICBs, county councils, case managers, solicitors, and financial deputies to deliver comprehensive complex care solutions that support people living with ongoing and potentially unpredictable conditions to live safely and comfortably at home.

Additionally, we work with families self-funding their care or using a personal health budget.

We provide day or night care, 24-hour nursing, or smaller care packages.

Nurse managers

Superior Healthcare supports children, young people, and adults living with ongoing and potentially unpredictable conditions.

Our nurse managers work full-time as part of our complex care team to provide a specialist nurse-led service that delivers over 650,000 hours of community home care each year.

Working as a registered nurse

We often find that registered nurses with a clinical or community care background, whether from the NHS or the private sector, enjoy working for Superior Healthcare.

This is because we give nurses a manageable workload and improved work-life balance so they can deliver a higher level of person-centred care when supporting one client per shift. We make sure nursing is rewarding and fulfilling – as it should be.

Working as an agency nurse

Registered nurses with clinical or community care experience, whether from the NHS or the private sector, find working for Superior Healthcare highly rewarding.

Our agency nurses appreciate the flexibility to work around their personal commitments. With our comprehensive ongoing training and revalidation support, they’re well-equipped to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Complex care healthcare assistant

As a healthcare assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to clients with complex healthcare needs. You’ll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with one or a few clients in your local area.

Your role will involve ensuring that each client receives person-centred care and helping them lead fulfilling and happy lives.

Field Care Supervisor

Field care supervisors work closely with clients in the community to ensure they receive exceptional service from a well-trained, enthusiastic, and compassionate team.

Working closely with a Nurse Manager, field care supervisors oversee the care of a small caseload of clients with diverse complex care needs, who require interventions like ventilation, gastrostomy, and bowel management.

Live-in Carer

As a Live-in Carer, you’ll move into clients’ homes and live with them. Your responsibilities may include providing clinical support for the client or assisting with their health and social care needs. This could range from providing personal care, and medication management, to completing or teaching clients how to do household tasks.

We provide comprehensive support to ensure both you and the client are set up for success. This includes additional paid training to boost your confidence in delivering high-quality person-centred care.

Our agency care team

Our dedicated coordinators offer a variety of placements in care settings where we have established strong working relationships.

If you find a care setting that resonates with you and you want to work there full-time, we’ll support both you and the care service to make the process as seamless as possible.

Many members of our agency care team choose to stay with us due to our exceptional employee benefits, training, and career progression opportunities, which exceed those offered by traditional care settings and agencies.

Our recruitment process

At Superior Healthcare, we know that we are only as good as the people we employ. That’s why we’ve designed a recruitment process that is both easy, thorough and comprehensive.

By offering a stress-free onboarding process, we make it easy for outstanding people to join our team–while maintaining our high-quality care standards, so that our clients receive support from skilled, experienced, and qualified professionals.

Applying for a role with us is simple!

Benefits of joining our team

Wellbeing has always been a priority at Superior Healthcare. When our CEO Stewart founded the service back in 2006, he recognised that if we wanted to recruit and retain a team of high-quality and experienced care professionals, we had to provide a fantastic working environment.

In 2022, we significantly invested in our Wellbeing team to support our care, nursing, and office teams. The impact of COVID-19 and the rising cost of living, paired with life’s ups and downs, have hit everyone hard. As an employer, we want to help where we can.

Employee Assistance Programme

Our Employee Assistance Programme is a free service for all Superior Healthcare employees. It offers support for personal or work-related issues, including counselling, bereavement support, and financial, and legal advice.

"I started working with Superior in January and I am happy to say it was the best decision I have made in a very long time. I can proudly say I am a complex care nurse and I feel empowered to make a difference in the life of people I care for and this makes me appreciate being a nurse even more."

Our Wellbeing team

The Wellbeing team was created to support every employee at Superior Healthcare.

Their role is to support your mental health, listen to your concerns, and to help you access counselling and confidential legal or financial advice, whenever you need it, through our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).

They make sure that even when you aren’t at work, you’ve got someone looking out for you.

Wellbeing call

You will receive a wellbeing call within the first few weeks of your new role to check in and see how you’re settling in.

This is an opportunity to discuss your initial shifts, request additional support, or share any positive feedback. The Wellbeing team will escalate any additional support needed.

The Wisdom app

The Wisdom app is a free resource available to everyone at Superior Healthcare. It offers healthy living tips, recipes, and hydration trackers.

You also get 24-hour access to an Online Counsellor via video call, message, or phone. Login details are provided during your induction.

Menopause support

We have a dedicated menopause champion to assist with symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. You can book a consultation with them for advice, support, and guidance, ensuring you get the professional help you need during this period.

Christmas Saver scheme

We help you save for the holiday season through our Christmas Saver scheme. If you join the scheme, we’ll deduct a set amount from your wage each week, and then return it in full in November. You can access these funds earlier if needed for emergencies.

Events

We organise events throughout the year to bring all our teams together. Enjoy gatherings like our annual Fish 'n' Chips on the beach, park picnics, "Tea and Talk" and Pride celebrations. These events are a great way to relax, have fun, and catch up with your colleagues.

Employee of the Month

Every month, we highlight an Employee of the Month from our head office, agency, and complex care teams. We regularly receive positive feedback about our employees, and we make it a priority to share this recognition and show our appreciation for your outstanding work.

Diplomas in Health and Social Care

We support your career growth by offering fully funded Diplomas in Health and Social Care, from Level 2 to Level 5. These programmes are designed to help you advance your skills and knowledge for free. Please enquire about eligibility to start your learning journey.
