About us

Cygnet Churchill is a hospital in South London, with three wards. Our approach is recovery focussed, collaborative and with a multi-disciplinary approach. We treat service users in the least restrictive environment that is safely possibly, with a recovery-focused approach - aiming for a clear pathway from referral to discharge.

The principles we follow around recovery are built on hope, wellness, employment and personal responsibility. We see each service user as an individual and encourage them to find their sense of self-agency and support them to rebuild their lives. The goal of personal recovery is at the heart of what we try to achieve for each service user. We offer practical support so that each individual is prepared for life after their period with us. We show them how to search for and apply for jobs, create a CV and practice interview skills.
