Contract type: Bank/Zero hours Working hours: shifts available across Mon-Sun between 8 am and 7 pm As Ward Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the ward for patients, visitors and staff. Duties and responsibilities (not limited): <ul> <li>To greet and provide a customer focused, professional and effective service that exceeds expectations to all Patients, Consultants, and Visitors to the hospital.</li> <li>To deal with all telephone enquiries in an efficient and courteous manner.</li> <li>To inform insurance companies if extended length of stay is required.</li> <li>To keep insurance companies informed of emergency admissions.</li> <li>To be aware of discharge dates and times and ensure that the relevant departments, i.e. Reception and Catering are informed when patient is leaving.</li> <li>Appointments given on discharge for treatment room and follow up.</li> <li>To liaise with Ward Staff regarding ordering.</li> <li>Ensure that patient notes are up to date and in correct order and are taken to the appropriate place when a patient episode is complete. Bank Registered Nurse | Outpatients | Flexible Working | Fylde Coast Spire Fylde Coast are now recruiting a highly motivated, flexible and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Outpatients department on the bank team, we offer a variety of shifts available to suit your flexibility and home/work life balance. Spire Fylde Coast Hospital is based in the seaside town of Blackpool. We have 3 operating theatres undertaking a wide range of procedures in Orthopaedics, ENT, Spines, Ophthalmic, Urology, Vascular, Gynaecology, Endoscopy, Plastics and General Surgery. Your role will be to assist in the cleaning and upkeep of wards, offices and shared spaces throughout the hospital.
