This is a part-time role of 34.5 hours. Based in picturesque South Wales, Priory Hospital Ty Cwm Rhondda is a low secure mental health facility offering high quality assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services for males with complex mental health needs, serious mental illnesses including treatment-resistant presentations, and behaviour that may challenge. A qualified Registered Adult Nurse with 6-12 months of post-registration experience, I hold active NMC registration and have successfully completed a preceptorship or equivalent programme. I possess a strong understanding of NMC standards, guidelines, requirements, and professional practices, supported by evidence of ongoing post-registration professional development. I demonstrate a positive attitude and a commitment to change, improvement, and high-quality care, with the ability to develop and utilise flexible and innovative approaches to practice. I have excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills, and I am confident using IT systems. My experience includes 6-12 months working within Mental Health or Learning Disability Nursing, with a continuing record of professional development in these fields.
