We are looking for nurses to work in residential nursing homes. Candidates must have the ability to provide the highest standards of care, both directly and by effectively supervising junior colleagues or staff members working shifts.<\/span>
<\/p>

Responsibilities<\/span>
<\/h2>
  • Maintaining accurate records<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensuring residents have personal care plans<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • <\/span><\/span>Carrying out regular checks on residents and providing shift relief with a clear and concise handover report<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Administering prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the Company’s procedure and NMC guidelines.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Supervise and instruct junior and new Staff Members in all aspects of their work in the Care Home, giving help, guidance and constructive feedback where appropriate.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure all commodities used in and around the Care Home are sensibly conserved by all Staff Members e.g. monitor usage of incontinence aids, wipes, dressings, electricity etc., giving constructive feedback.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Maintain all logbooks and records as required by both the Registering Authority and the Directors of the Company.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • You will manage and maintain agreed budgets, look for best value in your work and keep waste to a minimum.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • <\/span><\/span>Carry out any other reasonable management request.<\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • BSc or Diploma in nursing<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • <\/span><\/span>Valid registration and licensing<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Minimum 3 years working experience<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Proof of proficiency in English<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Willing to be a proactive person, take ownership and speak up about issues<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Willing to undertake carer duties as well as nursing duties<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • <\/span><\/span>Specialized experience desirable (eg disability, geriatrics, dementia, schizophrenia<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Reside in South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini or Namibia <\/span>
