What you will do

  • Conduct comprehensive specialist assessments, including risk assessments and risk management, for young people experiencing mental health crises.
  • Work autonomously as an accountable practitioner, delivering clinically effective therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practice.
  • Conduct specialised assessments of young people following self-harm incidents and attempted suicides.
  • Engage in consultation and liaison with a range of agencies to provide holistic support.
  • Deliver intensive, high-quality home-based treatment to help avoid unnecessary hospital admissions.
  • Support colleagues with the planning and implementation of comprehensive care plans.
  • Communicate complex and sensitive information effectively with patients, families, and professionals.
  • Adhere to safeguarding procedures, ensuring the safety and welfare of children and young people.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and maintain high standards of care.

Requirements

  • Competence in assessment and risk assessment.
  • Strong care planning and safety planning skills.

Salary range
