<li>Respond to calls as directed by the call centre.</li><li>Conduct clinical assessments and deliver high standards of care for detainees, determining fitness for detention, interview, release, or transfer.</li><li>Manage minor illnesses or injuries and make appropriate referrals for more serious conditions.</li><li>Undertake forensic examinations, document injuries, and collect DNA evidence as required.</li><li>Examine police officers or staff injured on duty, managing their care appropriately.</li><li>Collect specimens as outlined by legislation.</li><li>Operate within the Police and Criminal Evidence Act Code C.</li><li>Provide written statements within 7-10 days of request and testify in Court or Tribunal as needed.</li><li>Maintain accurate and complete clinical records, accessible to the company always.</li><li>Evaluate alcohol and drug intoxication and withdrawal.</li><li>Perform Mental Health and Learning Disability assessments where applicable.</li><li>Collaborate with the Clinical Lead and Head of Clinical Operations to enhance medical services.</li><li>Fulfill duties as a Forensic Clinician in custody, adhering to legal and professional requirements.</li><li>Promote company policies on Equality, Diversity, Dignity, Information Governance, and Safeguarding.</li><li>Use the RADAR System effectively.</li></ul>
 Essential qualifications and experience:<ul>
<li>Registered Nurse (Adult) or Paramedic with a minimum of two years qualified experience, or three years depending on the contract.</li><li>NMC or HCPC registration.</li><li>Proficiency in venipuncture.</li><li>Residency in the UK for at least three years.</li><li>Nursing experience in A&amp;E, ITU, EAU, SAU, Nurse Practitioner roles, etc.</li><li>A valid UK driving licence with access to a car for work purposes.</li></ul>
 Desirable qualifications:<ul>
<li>Leadership course or qualification.</li><li>Experience collaborating with team members and external parties in patient care review.</li><li>Track record of innovative practice.</li></ul>
