Applications are invited from experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioners to join the Perioperative Team&nbsp;at our client’s&nbsp;acute hospital site located in Kingston upon Thames, near the world-famous Wimbledon and Richmond Park.&nbsp; The Hospital has three operating theatres and one endoscopy suite and is within easy reach of&nbsp;<a href="https://tfl.gov.uk/" target="_blank">TfL</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/" target="_blank">National Rail</a>&nbsp;services and local bus networks&nbsp; This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week&nbsp;You will work as part of the Orthopaedic theatre team, providing a high standard of care, promoting a good working environment which is open to learning within the department. You will have significant orthopaedic experience and scrub for a range of lists with minimal supervision, developing advanced clinical skills and specialist practice.This employer is a leading provider of independent healthcare in the UK, working with some of the capital’s eminent medical Consultants and multidisciplinary healthcare specialists.&nbsp;An established Hospital since 1898 this centre of excellence delivers exceptional surgical and orthopaedic&nbsp;care, supported by the latest technology and state-of-the-art equipment. The Hospital facilities include;&nbsp;Private GP service,&nbsp;Physiotherapy, 15&nbsp;consulting rooms, a&nbsp;Cardiac Diagnostic Facility, 6 treatment and diagnostic rooms, a dedicated 14-bed Day surgery unit,&nbsp;19&nbsp;private single inpatient rooms, Imaging including&nbsp;X-Ray,&nbsp;CT&nbsp;and&nbsp;MRI&nbsp;and an&nbsp;On-site pharmacy.Person requirements: RGN or ODP with NMC/HCPC registration as applicable. Senior Perioperative Practitioner - Orthopaedic Scrub / SFA | Theatres | Competitive Salary on offer | Liverpool | Full Time Spire Liverpool has an exciting opportunity for an Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner / SFA to join our warm and friendly team. We are looking to develop our orthopaedic service by investing in our orthopaedic scrub team. As a scrub practitioner in our theatre complex you will predominantly be working with our leading orthopaedic surgeons but sometimes within our other specialities will be required. Spire Liverpool has 4 Theatres, 3 laminar flow and a minor ops/endoscopy unit, a 36 bedded Surgical Ward covering a wide variety of specialities including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Vascular, Plastics, Gynae, Ophthalmology, Spinal, Urology and ENT. Duties and responsibilities <ul> <li>Assist in scrubbing for Consultant led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism, predominately orthopaedics, but also cosmetics, gynae and ENT to name a few.</li> <li>You will assess patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.</li> <li>Develop care plans that are appropriate to the patient, taking into consideration the care pathway, perioperative risks and their well being.</li></ul> Who we're looking for <ul> <li>Qualified ODP/Scrub Nurse.</li> <li>NMC or HCPC registered with no restrictions on your pin.</li> <li>Orthopaedic experience is essential.
