What you will do:

Undertake comprehensive mental health and risk assessments, devising formulations for individuals within the prison setting.
Deliver and evaluate person-centred care plans, ensuring they adhere to NICE guidance, NHS standards, and Trust policies.
Administer and monitor medication in alignment with NMC standards and medicines management protocols.
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, prison staff, and external agencies.

Qualifications:

Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification (RMN)
Valid NMC registration
Evidence of continuous professional development

Registration and Compliance:

Current NMC registration with no restrictions
Knowledge of the Mental Health Act (1983/2007), Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Equality Act 2010
Awareness of NHS clinical governance frameworks and CQC standards
Prison clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance
