We are excited to announce an ongoing opportunity for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse specializing in Perinatal Services within Mental Health Nursing. Located in the vibrant town of Guildford, this full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of £27.00. You will work core hours from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility around start and finish times to suit your lifestyle, such as 8am-6pm for four days a week.

What you will do:

• Be accountable and responsible for a defined caseload, focusing on local population priorities, under the supervision of the Clinical Lead Nurse.
• Efficiently manage referrals, ensuring timely triage and assessment across the service.
• Respond appropriately to emergency referrals, coordinating with services such as HTT, inpatient services, and MBU.
• Contribute to the multi-disciplinary assessment of women with mental health issues, offering your expert nursing perspective.
• Remain vigilant to potential abuse vulnerabilities among service users and their families, ensuring safeguarding policies are adhered to.
• Ensure support is extended to carers of women using our service.
