Staff nurse duties and responsibilities
Staff nurses are nurses and therefore are registered as such. They can work in different facilities such as a company, a care home or a hospital. The following are some of their duties and responsibilities:
- Delivering care and treatments to patients
- Constantly learning and staying on top of current practices
- Keeping records and documentation of patient injuries
- Elaborating plans that aim at maintaining a patient’s health
- Identifying any potential hazards and addressing them
- Administrating regular medication
