What you will do:

  • Undertake health surveillance, assessments, and pre-placement services, ensuring the health and safety standards of prospective and current employees.
  • Expertly manage case work, providing informed, practical advice that aids both employers and employees.
  • Collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality occupational health services, offering guidance on employment suitability, fitness to work, and rehabilitation processes.
  • Adhere to professional standards and relevant legislation to ensure a high standard of care and service efficiency.
  • Employ clinical expertise to identify opportunities for service improvement and implement proactive health promotion strategies.
  • Offer professional advice to both clinical and non-clinical staff, fostering partnerships that enhance the holistic care provided to our clients.
  • Lead initiatives to develop and implement objectives for workforce health and wellbeing that align with organisational goals and support expansion.
  • Oversee clinical nursing practices, ensuring safety, effectiveness, and compliance with established standards, in coordination with the Occupational Health Manager.

Person Specification:

  • Degree or diploma in Occupational Health.
  • Registered General Nurse qualification.

Salary range
