The aim is to restore a healthy weight, modify problem behaviours linked to the eating disorder and help parents and carers work with the young person. Cygnet Hospital Oldbury has a full multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and supports the acute needs of adults requiring rapid access to mental health services, including those who may need an intensive care environment. We're focused on length of stay and making sure individuals move as quickly and safely as possible from our services to the most appropriate and least restrictive environment for them. Individuals can step down through the pathways available within Cygnet services. Referrals can come to us from all areas, including other acute services and prison services. Your Day-to-Day... You'll be working 42 hours a week in the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit and the Acute Service for Adult Females. • Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations • Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality • Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge &amp; promote nursing • Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete &amp; maintained collectively with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals. • Administer prescribed medicines with Healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines.
