Director of Nursing
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team in Winchester, IL. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a commitment to quality care, and a passion for supporting both residents and nursing staff. This role oversees all clinical operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives excellence in resident outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily clinical operations and nursing services
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
• Maintain high standards of resident care and satisfaction
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop care plans
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Drive quality assurance and improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
• Current RN license in Illinois
• Previous DON or nurse leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices
