Practice Nurse
North Chelmsford Healthcare Centre has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly team working across our main surgery and our new modern purpose-built branch surgery, Beaulieu Healthcare Centre. This role is offered on a permanent contract and we are happy to consider part-time or full-time hours so please apply to discuss.
Duties will include:
- Childhood Immunisations
- Cytology
- Contraception
- Wound dressings
- Adult Immunisations
- ECGs/BPs
- Health monitoring and management
- NHS travel vaccines
- Asthma or diabetes management (qualified or willingness to undertake training) - preferrable
About the Candidate
All applicants should have the following qualifications, registrations, skills and experience:- A relevant nursing degree.
- Current NMC registration with an active PIN.
- Evidence of clinical skills and experience in treatment room consultation.
- Knowledge, and experience of its application, in supporting long-term conditions.
- Insight and understanding of current issues in nursing and the wider NHS.
