Priory Burston House is looking to recruit a Staff Nurse to join the team. Priory Burston House, located in the historic market town of Diss, near the border of Suffolk, provides level 2 rehabilitation for male patients with a learning disability. Across rehabilitation and low secure care, our specialist learning disability service also cares for adults who may have complex mental health needs, including autism and personality disorders. What you'll be doing You'll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, supporting with care requirements, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.<ul> <li>Deliver prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework.</li> <li>Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse.</li> <li>Accurately observe and engage with patients in order to assess their need and evaluate their progress.</li> <li>Monitor and review Nursing Care plans.</li> <li>Evaluate and respond to changes in patient's condition and needs.</li> </ul> You can find additional information in the attached job description.
