Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective and patient-centred nursing care.
- Assess, plan and evaluate care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient progress and respond appropriately to changing clinical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and NMC guidelines.
- Collaborate with consultants, healthcare professionals and support staff to provide outstanding patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult).
- Previous experience working on a surgical ward within a hospital setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A commitment to delivering high standards of patient care.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
