As part of our Intensive Therapy Unit, you'll join a highly skilled and supportive critical care team within one of London's leading private hospitals. Our 28-bedded Intensive Therapy Unit cares for patients with a wide range of complex medical, surgical and cardiac conditions, offering exposure to advanced therapies and specialist interventions in a fast paced, rewarding environment.
Located in the heart of central London, London Bridge Hospital is renowned for its clinical excellence, advanced technology and multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The hospital is just moments from London Bridge Station, providing excellent access via National Rail services, the Northern and Jubilee Underground lines, making it an easy commute from across London, Kent, Sussex and the South East.
You'll be working alongside experienced Critical Care Nurses, Consultant Intensivists, Resident Medical Officers and a wide range of specialist teams, giving you the opportunity to continually develop your skills and gain exposure to highly complex patient pathways. What you'll do
- Deliver safe, compassionate and evidence based care to critically ill patients within our Intensive Therapy Unit.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care programmes.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of clinical care and patient experience.
- Support patients and their families through challenging and often complex care journeys.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and uphold clinical excellence across the unit.
What you'll bring
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- A minimum of one year's Intensive Care Unit experience within the UK.
- Strong clinical assessment, prioritisation and communication skills.
- 30 or 60 Critical Care Credits are desirable but not essential.
- ECMO experience is desirable but not essential.
