Staff Nurse - Surgical Ward

We're looking for a Staff Nurse to join our Surgical Ward team at The Princess Grace Hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC.

As a Staff Nurse within the surgical ward, you will be responsible for assessing patient care needs, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of care, working both independently and collaboratively within the wider team. You will support patients throughout their surgical journey, delivering high-quality care from admission through to discharge.
The role involves monitoring patient condition, administering medications, managing post-operative care, and ensuring accurate documentation. You will escalate any concerns appropriately and work closely with consultants and allied health professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. You will take accountability for your own practice while contributing to a supportive team environment and maintaining a consistently high standard of patient-centred care.

What you'll bring:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration
- Experience in a surgical or acute care setting
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams
