This is an exciting opportunity for a\npassionate and patient -focused Registered Nurse to play a key role in\ndelivering high quality- care beyond the traditional hospital setting.
As a Specialist Nurse, you'll support patients\nin their own homes, helping to facilitate early discharge from hospital and\nprevent unnecessary admissions, while delivering safe, effective, and\ncompassionate care.

Working 37.5 hours per week, you will be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary\nteam, making a real difference to patient outcomes and experiences every day.

A full UK driving licence is essential as you will travel throughout a regional area (covering Glasgow and surrounding areas)

What's you will be doing

As a Specialist Nurse, you'll be responsible\nfor delivering excellent clinical care in line with patient needs, KPIs. Your\nresponsibilities will include:
- Delivering high quality- nursing care to patients in their home\n environment.
- Safely administering a range of therapeutic interventions
- Undertaking clinical assessments and making independent clinical\n decisions
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Identifying, reporting, and escalating risks and incidents in line\n with organisational and hospital based- processes
- Supporting patient safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding

Who we are looking for?

We're looking for a motivated and\ncompassionate nurse who is confident working autonomously while remaining a\nstrong team player.

You'll need:
- RGN (Part 1) on the NMC Register
- Experience in an acute care setting, including making independent\n clinical decisions
- Experience undertaking clinical assessments and administering sub-cutaneous\n injections.
- Experience caring for IV devices and administering IV therapies
- Full UK drivers licence

You'll be someone who:
- Has excellent communication skills and can put patients at ease
- Pays close attention to detail and follows protocols and procedures\n consistently
- Is adaptable, flexible, and able to respond to changing service\n demands
