Sister/Charge Nurse-IVF

Location: London, The Lister Fertility Clinic at The Portland Hospital, Great Portland Street

Contract: Permanent, full-time ( 37.5 hours per week)

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm (working four days per week), plus rotational weekend work

Salary: Competitive

We're looking for a Sister /Charge Nurse to join our IVF team at The Lister Fertility Clinic at The Portland Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC .

As a Sister /Charge Nurse in IVF, you'll play a key role in supporting the Nursing Manager with daily operations, leading by example in patient care and ensuring compliance with HFEA standards. You'll prioritise safety through audits and risk assessments, deputise for the manager when needed, and work closely with maternity and embryology teams to provide exceptional care. This role includes rotational weekend work and weekly on-call responsibilities, so flexibility and commitment are essential. You'll also have the chance to work alongside renowned consultants in reproductive medicine, with access to learning and development programmes including scanning and prescribing skills.

What you'll bring:
  • NMC registration (Midwife or General Adult Nurse)
  • Extensive IVF experience at senior level
  • Strong knowledge of safety, quality and compliance standards
  • Ability to lead by example and support team development
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
