Senior Staff Nurse - Outpatients
Location: London, St Paul's Outpatients, with the occasional expectation to work at our neighbouring sites on the London Bridge campus (Canary Wharf, Old Broad Street, The Shard and London Bridge)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays. 8-4pm, 10-6pm or 12-8pm (2 early, 3 lates)
Salary: Competitive

We're looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our Outpatients team at St Paul's Outpatients.

Located in Paternoster Square in the heart of the City of London, this brand new £17m outpatient, primary care and diagnostics centre is set to open in early 2027. Bringing together GP services, specialist outpatient care and advanced diagnostics, including MRI, ultrasound, X-ray and mammography, the centre has been designed to deliver a seamless experience for patients and colleagues alike. As one of the first colleagues to join this new facility, you'll play a key role in its journey from day one while benefiting from the support, development opportunities and expertise that come with working for the UK's most renowned family of private hospitals.

As a Senior Staff Nurse in our Outpatient department, you'll be part of a team delivering specialist outpatient care covering all outpatient and ultrasound clinics . Alongside providing expert clinical care, you'll act as a role model for nursing colleagues and support the daily running of clinics. The variety of services available within the centre offers excellent opportunities to broaden your experience while contributing to the development of a brand-new facility. What you'll do:
• Deliver expert nursing care across outpatient clinics and diagnostic services
• Support the coordination and smooth running of clinics and patient pathways
• Act as a role model and mentor for junior nursing colleagues
• Assist with quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives
• Work collaboratively with consultants and multidisciplinary teams

What you'll bring:
• Current NMC registration
• Significant post registration nursing experience within outpatients or acute care
• Demonstrable experience supporting and mentoring colleagues or operating within a similar senior post
• Strong clinical decision making and organisational skills
• Commitment to high standards of patient care and safety
